Bashar Dayoub is an outstanding architect and urban planner who holds a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Latakia in Syria (2010), a Master's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from Chongqing University in China (2014), and a Doctoral degree (2021).

Dr. Dayoub's research interests focus on regional, urban and rural planning, sustainable development, spatial planning for regional tourism, and conservation planning for historical and cultural cities, towns, and villages. He has participated in a number of research projects, including "The the Belt and Road, One Heritage": spatial tourism planning as the basis for the protection and utilization of the cultural heritage of the Silk Road, "research on the teaching reform of cultural heritage protection courses based on improving the ability to identify cultural values", "research on the mechanism and spatial intervention of urban human settlements health enhancement based on agent modeling technology - taking Fuzhou City as an example", "From the perspective of large-scale linear heritage, study the types and protection system of historical sites along the Maritime Silk Road in Fujian Province". "

Dr. Dayoub has published articles in renowned journals such as the International Journal of Sustainable Development and Planning, and has presented his research findings at several domestic and international conferences.

From 2010 to 2012, he began his teaching career as a teaching assistant at the School of Architecture and Engineering at the University of Latakia in Syria. Currently, he serves as a lecturer at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Fujian University of Technology.

Dr. Dayoub has received multiple awards and certificates, including being the first graduate student at the School of Architecture at the University of Tishlin, being recognized for volunteering at the Chongqing International Student Union in 2017, and the Outstanding Student Award at Chongqing University in 2021.
