Designing of the Optimal Controller Based on Pole Placement for Inverted Pendulum

摘要:Technology of choosing the weighting matrices based on method of pole placement is presented. A new method choosing matrix of cost function by assigning dominant poles is presented. Through this method, the optimal controller is not only realized, but also the desired dominant poles are obtained. Then, the method is successful used in designing optimal control system of the inverted pendulum. Experiment results show that the method proposed in the paper is feasible and available.
