王嘉宏，男, 台湾台南人。博士(后)，现任福建理工大学计算机科学与数学学院副教授、硕导。研究兴趣主要在运筹学、人工智能、大数据分析、排队论、系统模拟与网络应用等方面的研究。近年来，在重要学术刊物和国际学术会议上已发表论文80余篇，其中SCI/SSCI检索14篇，EI检索38篇，CPCI/ISTP检索27篇，Mathematical Reviews收录7篇。申请中国发明专利15项，已获中国发明专利授权8项，其中获中国台湾专利授权1项。以项目负责人承担福建省科技厅自然基金项目、福建省教育厅中青年教师教育科研项目，担任项目组主要成员参与国家自然科学基金项目、福建省科技厅自然基金项目、福建省教育厅科研项目，并曾在(中国台湾)参与十多项科技部(国科会)及教育部的科学基金项目，7次获(中国台湾)教育部与国科会出席国际会议或海外交流经费支持。

2001年被台湾台南县永康市评为「青年楷模」，2007年至2012年3次入选中国「海外杰青汇中华交流团」，2009年被英国International Biographical Centre评为「Leading Scientists of the World 2009」，2011年所著博士论文荣获台湾作业研究学会、中华决策科学学会联合评为「硕博士论文竞赛博士组第一名」，2011年一篇学术论文获第七届台湾作业研究学会年会暨学术研讨会的「大会最佳论文奖」，2013年获第八届排队理论与网络应用国际研讨会的「大会最佳论文奖」，2015年获福建省科协第十五届学术年会暨福建省计算机学会学术年会论文评选活动的「贰等奖」，2017年获福建工程学院「本科优秀毕业设计(论文)指导教师奖」，2019年一篇学术论文获INFORMS Conference on Service Science (ICSS2019)国际研讨会的「最佳论文奖」，2019年一篇学术论文获The 8th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Systems Management (IESM 2019)国际研讨会的「Best Application Paper Finalist Award」。2013年至2023年每年皆荣获美国Marquis Who's Who评为「Who's Who in the World」，2016年获美国 Marquis Who's Who评为「Who's Who in Science and Engineering 2016-2017」，2017年荣获美国Marquis Who's Who评为「Who's Who in Asia 2017-2018」，2018年入选福建省「福州市台湾人才库成员」。
