Dr. Chia-Hung Wang currently holds an Associate Professor position in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at Fujian University of Technology, China. Prof. Wang earned his Ph.D. degree in Operations Research from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at National Chengchi University, Taiwan in 2011. He got his B.S. degree in Mathematics from National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan in 2002. In 2004, he received his M.S. degree in Mathematical Sciences from National Chengchi University, Taipei, Taiwan. He visited the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA as a Visiting Scholar from August 2007 to August 2008. From 2011 to 2015, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with National Chiao Tung University and National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Since 2015, Dr. Wang has joined Fujian University of Technology as a faculty member, and also served as a research fellow at the Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Big Data Mining and Applications.

Prof. Wang is an expert in operations research, applied mathematics, information systems, operation management, and data science. He has been involved in several collaborative projects with international and national professionals, including the design of management schemes on communication networks for bandwidth sharing, the modeling and analysis of security-check queues, the management mechanisms for service systems, the trading mechanisms and data analysis for stock markets, etc. In addition, he is also a co-inventor of more than 8 invention patents. These research works have already been published in over 70 refereed journals and conference proceedings, including Management Science, Applied Intelligence, Computers & Operations Research, Computers and Mathematics with Applications, Soft Computing, IEEE ACCESS, Mathematics, Energies, Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, Journal of Network Intelligence, International Journal of Information and Management Sciences, and so on.

For academic services, Prof. Wang has served as a reviewer and/or editorial committee member for several well-known international journals, such as Journal of the Operational Research Society, Annals of Operations Research, European Journal of Operational Research, IISE Transactions, Expert Systems With Applications, Reliability Engineering & System Safety, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Simulation Modelling Practice and Theory, Soft Computing, Journal of Industrial and Production Engineering, Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization, Applied Economics, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Physical Communication, IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence, IEEE ACCESS, PLOS ONE, Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, PeerJ Computer Science, International Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Journal of Information Analysis, etc. Besides, Prof. Wang also served as one member of organizing committees or technical program committees at multiple international conferences.
