Dr. Yang Peifeng, professor, graduated from Chongqing University in urban planning and design, received a Ph.D. in engineering in 2001.  

From 2002 to 2020, he worked in the school of urban planning of Chongqing University, and he has been a lecturer, associate professor, professor and doctoral supervisor.

In January 2021, he was transferred to the school of architecture and urban rural planning of Fujian University of Technology , served as a president and Deputy Secretary of the CCP committee, and specially appointed professor of Fujian Minjiang scholar. He is a member of the deputy director of the urban renewal Committee of the China Urban Science Association, member of the Ecological City Research Committee of the China Urban Science Association, member of the urban master planning professional committee of the China Urban Planning Society, a registered planner and a standing director of Fujian Rural Revitalization Research Association. Dr. Yang was a visiting scholar at the Bartlett School of planning, UCL, University of London, UK. He is an expert reviewer of magazines such as Urban Planning and Small Town Construction.。

Dr. Yang research main focus on urban ecological planning , regional &urban-rural spatial development ,and  rural planning &construction. He published more than 80 papers, 2 monographs, 1 National Textbook and 3 professional textbooks. Dr. Yang presided over and participated in more than 20 national, provincial and ministerial level vertical scientific research projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China and key special projects of the Ministry of science and technology of the people's Republic of China; As the project leader, he has completed more than 80 planning and design projects, won  8 national or  provincial excellent design awards.
